(Q) What is a Student Recorder Package?
A Student Recorder Package includes the printed and/or digital version of the Be A Recorder Star Method Book One, Kingsley Recorder, carrying case, adhesive coin to ensure right thumb position and cleaning rod. Our patented safety neck strap may be added for the additional cost of $1.25 ($2.00 for the glow-in-the-dark strap). There are a variety of student recorder packages available. Pricing is based upon the type of package you choose and the number of packages your order.
(Q) What is the most cost effective way to order materials?
Package pricing provides an affordable way for each student to have his or her own printed method book and/or digital access code and recorder. Pricing depends upon the type and quantity of packages ordered. When ordering at least 30 packages, you will receive discounts on the Teacher’s Materials. Our new Deluxe Online Package is a great value at $9.95. The Deluxe package includes a digital access code, a printed copy of Be A Recorder Star Book One by Ed Sueta, Kingsley Recorder, carrying case, adhesive coin to ensure right thumb position and cleaning rod. Our patented safety neck strap may be added for the additional cost of $1.25 ($2.00 for the glow-in-the-dark strap).
(Q) Do I need a purchase order number before I place my order?
You are welcome to place your order in the way you find most convenient. Orders may be placed by phone, online, email, fax or mail. Macie Publishing Company does not require purchase order numbers or prepayment. However, if your school or school district requires a purchase order number, we ask that you provide one with your order.

At Macie Publishing Company, we pride ourselves on the quickest service in the music industry. Orders are shipped within 48 hours (2 business days). Orders are generally delivered within 1-6 business days from the date of shipment depending upon your geographical location. (Q) How can I pay my invoices?
Macie Publishing Company does not require prepayment. Orders typically receive 30 day billing. Orders may be paid by school check, district check, personal check or credit card. Macie is also set up to receive ACH payments. We do not accept individual student orders or parent checks.
(Q) My students finished Book One. Is there a second level?
Macie Publishing Company publishes an entire Book Two Curriculum including a Student Method Book and Play-Along Accompaniments. Both a transposed (soprano fingering) and nontransposed (traditional alto fingering) version of Be A Recorder Star Alto Method offer a great opportunity for additional recorder study.
(Q) How long does it take for me to receive my order?
Macie Publishing Company serves all states, Canada and Mexico and is happy to make special arrangements for other international shipments. We pride ourselves on our quick, efficient service. Most orders are shipped by FedEx Ground which has an excellent track record for meeting their transit times. Nevertheless, it is always good to allow an extra day or two for inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you are in a hurry, please let us know and we will make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours. We can also provide quotes for expedited air shipments.
